They I didn't use the normal Pop OS! wipe disc option (because that failed for me) So I then used the manual install instructions this guy gave me on the second page of this forum post

I had to turn off secure boot and then I installed windows 10 in NTFS. I had to uninstall windows and change my sata controller from RAID to AHCI. I recently installed Pop OS! I'm not an expert but I'll explain to you how I got it installed. i have tried just using a root partition and making a boot and swap partion all with no luck When i do a clean install of pop os 21.04 it works fine, but if i try to install pop os after windows it will fail with an error about grub.
